One-piece finned ballast housing is cast aluminum. Spun aluminum shade is painted white on the underside and is attached to housing with concealed hardware. Sag lens is clear impact resistant acrylic and is secured to the shade with four stainless steel spring clips. Housing is fitted with stainless steel weather-tight strain relief bushing for the power cable exiting the rear of the luminaire. Luminaire bolts to mounting arm in two places with socket head cap screws. All hardware is stainless steel.

Metal halide core and coil ballast with class “H” (180°C) insulation system shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 90% and nominal ballast factor of 1.0. Ballast shall be capable of reliable starting to –20°F (-30°C) at nominal line voltage of ±10%. Ballast and capacitor are UL and CSA recognized. Medium base porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 4kV pulse rated.

Fabricated steel bracket assembly is available in single or twin mount configurations. Integral slipfitter mounts over 2.4" O.D. pole top and is secured with two rows of four stainless steel M10 x 12 setscrews. Twin horizontal flat steel bars welded to the fitter flare outward terminating with mounting surface for the luminaire. Upper angular steel tubing forms wireway for supplying power to luminaire. Cap is machined aluminum and gasketed to provide a weather tight seal at the top of the bracket arm assembly.

Round tapered steel pole is manufactured from cold drawn over mandrel, electric-weld, mechanical round steel tubing with nominal wall thickness of 0.157”. Flush mounted handhole cover is plasma cut with kerf not to exceed 1/8” and includes triangular tamper-resistant locking device. Pole and bracket are hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting. Nominal pole height is 16’. See pole data sheet for mounting details.
