HOUSING
One-piece cylindrical
luminaire housing with integral cooling grooves and lens ring are
precision-machined from billet aluminum, then satin anodized. Lens
ring with internal retention spring press fits flush to the housing,
and can be removed without the use of tools for relamping. Anodized
aluminum trim plate mounts to 4” octagon junction box, and is
attached to luminaire housing with concealed hardware. All hardware
is stainless steel.
OPTICS
MR16 lamp with symmetrical
narrow spot distribution. Additional distributions are available upon
request. Matte glass disc adds diffusing element and is offset
¾” from the lens ring with spacers and stainless steel
socket head cap screws.
ELECTRICAL
Low voltage halogen
with optional UL and CSA recognized low voltage remote electronic
transformer. Minimum operating temperature is 5°F (-15°C).
Power factor shall be greater than 93% with total harmonic distortion
of less than 20%. Class A insulation system. Low voltage transformer
provides 12V output to lamp with 120v or 277v input depending upon
model. Transformer is encapsulated for low noise operation. GU5.3
base porcelain socket with nickel-plated contacts shall be rated 10A/24V.
