Wall mounted indirect
luminaire for applications where contemporary styling is desired.
HOUSING
Luminaire housing
with integral slipfitter is cast aluminum with cooling fins to enhance
heat dissipation. One-piece cast aluminum doorframe is secured to
the housing with four captive socket head cap screws and gasketed
with one-piece closed cell silicone gasket to provide a weather tight
seal. Clear tempered glass lens is bonded to the doorframe, forming
a flush fit to the exterior surface. Sail with integral ribbing is
cast aluminum and supported by two extruded aluminum stanchions. Housing,
sail, and stanchion arms are painted to match. All hardware is stainless
steel.
OPTICS
Horizontal lamp
is housed in stucco patterned anodized aluminum reflector, laser cut
for precise reproduction. Sail reflector material is profiled matte
anodized aluminum and mechanically retained to the adjustable sail.
Sail is field adjustable and fixed in place by tightening two machined
anodized aluminum adjustment knobs.
ELECTRICAL
Compact fluorescent
high frequency electronic ballast shall be Class P and Outdoor Type
1 rated. Ballast shall have a minimum high power factor rating of
98% and nominal ballast factor of 0.98. Total harmonic distortion
shall be less than 10%. Ballast shall be capable of reliable starting
to 0°F (-18°C) at nominal line voltage and frequency of ±10%.
Ballast shall be UL and CSA recognized. G24q-3 lamp socket is 75w-600v
rated.
Fabricated steel bracket assembly mounts over 3 ½”
octagon box and is secured to the wall in four places with factory
supplied hardware. Mounting bracket is hot-dip galvanized with coating
inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting.
FINISH
Housing is cleaned
in an ultrasonic detergent bath prior to painting. Standard finish
is finely textured matte silver grey metallic. Special colors available
on request.
WARRANTY
Limited product
warranty period is three years. Lamps and ballasts shall carry the
respective manufacturer's limited warranty.
