Surface mounted luminaire for interior and exterior applications where contemporary styling is desired.
HOUSING
Housing consists of cylindrical matte acrylic lens retained by two lens rings mechanically fastened together with three internal aluminum support rods. Lens rings are precision-machined from 6082 billet aluminum, then satin anodized. Lens rings have machined groove for one-piece EPDM gasket to provide a weather-tight seal to the lens. Two-piece outer lens ring with circular aperture for diffused end lens retains matte acrylic disk. Tempered glass end lens is white flashed opal glass. Lens and disk are sealed to the lens ring with one-piece closed cell silicone gaskets. Luminaire mounts to machined aluminum back plate housing the lamp and electrical components with three recessed setscrews. Back plate is satin anodized to match luminaire and gasketed to provide a weather-tight seal to the housing. Back plate mounts to the wall surface over 3.5” octagon junction box with factory-supplied wall anchors. All hardware is stainless steel.
OPTICS
Lamp is positioned within the matte acrylic cylindrical lens providing diffuse symmetrical distribution. Matte acrylic disk and diffused end lens provide subtle radiant glow. Optional 24” diameter disk is available upon request.
ELECTRICAL
Compact fluorescent high frequency electronic ballast shall be Class P and Outdoor Type 1 rated. Ballast shall have a minimum high power factor rating greater than 90%. Ballast shall be capable of reliable starting to -20°F (-30°C) at nominal line voltage and frequency of ±10%. Ballast shall be UL and cUL recognized. Lamp socket is 75w-600v rated.
