high performance floodlight for applications where controlled distribution
and contemporary styling are desired.
HOUSING
Square soft-cornered
optical housing with integral cooling grooves and ballast enclosure
are cast aluminum. Housings are mechanically joined by an articulating
arm assembly, providing thermal isolation of lamp and ballast components.
Cast aluminum doorframe with integral hinges attaches to housing with
concealed hardware. Closed cell silicone gasketing creates a weather-tight
seal. Doorframe is secured to housing with single captive socket head
cap screw. Articulating arm assembly, consisting of components precision
machined from high-grade aluminum alloy, allows ± 90° vertical
and ± 60° horizontal aiming adjustment. Aiming angle is
preset by hand tightening the precision-machined billet adjustment
knob and locked in place with recessed hardware. Housing mounts to
a stainless steel mounting plate and is retained with locator pins
and setscrews. All hardware is stainless steel.
OPTICS
Tempered glass
lens is ¼" thick with black screen-printed border. Lens
is bonded with silicone to the cast aluminum doorframe.
Symmetrical Reflector: Round spun aluminum reflector shall have
specular anodized finish. Matte black band is press-fit to the inner
perimeter of the reflector and combined with an independent louver
assembly consisting of two circular louvers and center cup for precise
light control. Louver assembly is attached to the doorframe and
allows access for relamping without the removal of any reflector
or shielding elements. Available distributions are 10°, 20°,
and 35°. Specify distribution and wattage.
Rectangular Reflector: Parabolic reflector is precision formed
from specular anodized aluminum sheet. Internal shielding consists
of two horizontal blade baffles with specular outer surface and
black anodized profiled inner surface for precise light control.
Reflector design shall allow relamping without removal of any reflector
or shielding elements. Available distributions are 80° x 10°,
80° x 20°, and 80° x 35°. Specify distribution and
wattage.
ELECTRICAL
Ceramic metal
halide core and coil ballast with class "H" (180°C)
insulation system shall have a minimum high power factor rating of
90% and nominal ballast factor of 1.0. Ballast and starter combination
shall be capable of reliable starting to -20°F (-30°C) at
nominal line voltage of ±10%. Ballast, capacitor, and starter
are UL and CSA recognized. G12 porcelain socket for 150w and 70w metal
halide symmetrical distributions are 660w-600v, 5kV pulse rated. RX7s
porcelain sockets for 150w and 70w metal halide for rectangular distributions
are 660w-600v, 5kV pulse rated. Lamp is included.

Optional accessories
include glare shields, lens guard, spread lens, and color filters.
Color filters are available in red, blue, green, and yellow. All accessories
are offset from the doorframe with field installed mounting hardware
(included).
FINISH
Housing is cleaned
ultrasonically in detergent bath prior to painting. Standard finish
is finely textured matte silver grey metallic, graphite grey, or black.
Special colors available upon request.
WARRANTY
Limited product
warranty period is three years. Lamp and ballast shall carry the respective
manufacturer's limited warranty.
