High performance pole mounted indirect luminaire for applications where uniform, glare-free illumination and contemporary styling are desired.
HOUSING
Heavy-duty fabricated steel cylindrical housing with integrated tenon houses the primary reflector and electrical components. Angular secondary reflector bracket of welded construction is fabricated from two parallel structural steel plates separated by steel spacers and secured to luminaire housing with two stainless steel socket head bolts. Secondary reflector bracket supports the formed aluminum roof, housing the secondary reflector system. Lens assembly consists of machined ¾” thick tempered glass lens with exposed edge bonded to precision machined anodized aluminum lens ring. Lens ring assembly is fastened to housing with three recessed setscrews. Housing and secondary reflector bracket are hot-dip galvanized, then lightly sanded prior to painting. All hardware is stainless steel.
OPTICS
Primary reflector system uses deep drawn parabolic reflector with specular surface to reduce uplight to 1.4% of total lamp lumens. Matte black band is press-fit to the inner perimeter of the reflector. Reflector is nested within the top of the luminaire and works in conjunction with secondary reflector described below. Machined tempered glass lens includes black ceramic masking.
Secondary reflector is composed of specially formulated injection molded plastic modules, consisting of nine facets each. Facet curvatures shall vary according to position within the secondary reflector, producing Type V square distribution with cut-off better than 60°. Facet surfaces are vacuum metallized for specularity and finished with double layer of protective clearcoat. Secondary reflector shall have 36 modules consisting of 324 individual facets.
ELECTRICAL
Ceramic metal halide core and coil ballast with class “H” (180°C) insulation system shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 90% and nominal ballast factor of 1.0. Ballast and starter combination shall be capable of reliable starting to –20°F (-30°C) at nominal line voltage of ±10%. Ballast, capacitor, and starter are UL and CSA recognized. G12 base porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 5kV pulse rated.

POLE
Inverted tapered steel pole is manufactured from cold drawn over mandrel, electric-weld, mechanical round steel tubing with nominal wall thickness of 0.157”. Pole tapers from 6.6” O.D. at top of pole to 3.7” O.D. at the base. Pole has internal fitter plug welded at the top of the pole, and forms a reveal when the luminaire is installed. Two rows of four recessed stainless steel setscrews secure luminaire to pole. Flush mounted handhole cover is plasma cut with kerf not to exceed 1/8” and includes triangular tamper-resistant locking device. Pole is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting. Nominal pole height is 10’. Soil insert is required. See pole data sheet for mounting details.
FINISH
Standard finish is finely textured matte silver grey metallic or graphite grey. Special colors available on request.

Limited product
warranty period is three years. Lamp and ballast shall carry the respective
manufacturer's limited warranty.
