Cylindrical pendant mounted wall luminaire consists of housing, shade, and external louvers with complementary profiles. Heavy cast aluminum top housing with integral fitter is separated from the spun aluminum shade by four machined aluminum upper support rods, forming an aperture at the top of the luminaire. Top housing is grooved to accept one-piece EPDM gasket to provide a weather tight seal to the top of the lens. Five spun aluminum external louvers mount to the lower support rods along the length of the cylindrical clear acrylic lens. Machined aluminum lower ring anchors the support rods at the bottom of the luminaire. Lower ring with U profile closed cell silicone gasketing provides a weather-tight seal to the bottom of the lens. Cast aluminum domed bottom housing mounts to the ring with recessed socket head cap screws. Keyhole slots provide easy access for relamping. All hardware is stainless steel.

Electrical components are mounted in a conical two piece spun aluminum enclosure inside the top of the luminaire. Enclosure is finished in high reflectance white paint.

Ceramic metal halide core and coil ballast with class “H” (180°C) insulation system shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 90% and nominal ballast factor of 1.0. Ballast and starter combination shall be capable of reliable starting to –20°F (-30°C) at nominal line voltage of ±10%. Ballast, capacitor, and starter are UL and CSA recognized. Medium base porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 4kV pulse rated.

Fabricated steel mounting bracket is composed of square steel tubing with triangular plate section welded to the underside. Stainless steel though-bolt and four setscrews secure and level the luminaire. Bracket mounts over single gang junction box to wall surface in four places. Mounting hardware by others. Bracket is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting.
