Rectangular luminaire housing with integral fitter is fabricated aluminum with no visible welds. Frameless tempered glass lens is hinged and secured in place with a single stainless steel quarter-turn fastener for tool-less relamping. Lens seals to the housing with one-piece silicone gasketing when closed. Housing is fitted with stainless steel weather-tight strain relief bushing for the power cable exiting the rear of the housing. Luminaire mounts to tenon on pole and secured with four socket head cap screws on top of the housing. Luminaire is available in single or twin back-to-back mounting configurations. All hardware is stainless steel.

Horizontal lamp is positioned within the three piece hydroformed facetted reflector with specular finish. Lens is clear tempered glass. Optional matte glass lens is available upon request.

ED-17 & T6 lamping:
Ceramic metal halide core and coil ballast with class “H” (180°C) insulation system shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 90% and nominal ballast factor of 1.0. Ballast shall be capable of reliable starting to –20°F (-30°C) at nominal line voltage of ±10%. Ballast, capacitor, and starter are UL and CSA recognized. Medium base porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 4kV pulse rated. G12 base porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 5kV pulse rated.

Cosmpolis lamping :
Ceramic metal halide electronic ballast accepts 208v through 277v input at 50/60 Hz. Ballast shall have a high power factor rating of 95% and be capable of reliable starting to -4°F (-20°C). Ballast is UL and CSA recognized. PGZ12 base socket is 500v-10A, 4kV pulse rated.

Straight rectangular pole with 7.5" x 3.5" nominal cross section is manufactured from seamless 6061 aluminum and heat treated to produce a T6 temper. Nominal wall thickness is 3/16 ”. Sides of shaft are flat with 1/8" radiussed corners. Flush mounted handhole cover is plasma cut with kerf not to exceed 1/8” and includes triangular tamper-resistant locking device. Two-piece base cover is fabricated aluminum. Nominal pole height is 15'.
