High performance pole mounted indirect luminaire for pedestrian-scale applications where uniform, glare-free illumination and contemporary styling are desired.
HOUSING
Luminaire base with integral fitter is cast aluminum and is secured to pole top with three recessed setscrews. Lens consists of clear tempered flat glass lens bonded to the top of the clear cylindrical lens to form a single assembly. Lens assembly twists and locks onto housing without the use of tools, providing access for relamping. Angular secondary reflector bracket of welded construction is fabricated from two parallel structural steel plates separated by steel spacers and secured to luminaire housing with concealed hardware. Secondary reflector bracket supports the spun aluminum roof, housing the secondary reflector system. Secondary reflector system is hinged to allow secondary reflector to be lowered for maintenance and secured with a stainless steel lanyard. All hardware is stainless steel.
OPTICS
Primary reflector system uses deep drawn parabolic reflector with specular surface to reduce uplight to 1.3% of total lamp lumens. Matte black band is 2.5" wide and press-fit to the inner perimeter of the reflector opening to eliminate extraneous light. Reflector works in conjunction with round secondary reflector described below.
Secondary reflector is composed of specially formulated injection molded plastic modules, consisting of up to nine facets each. Facet curvatures shall vary according to position within the secondary reflector, producing Type V square distribution with cut-off better than 60°. Facet surfaces are vacuum metallized for specularity and finished with double layer of protective clearcoat. Secondary reflector shall have 24 modules consisting of 256 individual facets.
ELECTRICAL
Ceramic metal halide core and coil ballast with class "H" (180°C) insulation system shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 90% and nominal ballast factor of 1.0. Ballast and starter combination shall be capable of reliable starting to -20°F (-30°C) at nominal line voltage of ±10%. Ballast, capacitor, and starter are UL and CSA recognized.Porcelain G12 base socket is 660w-600v, 5kV pulse rated.

POLE
Stepped steel pole is manufactured from cold drawn over mandrel, electric-weld, mechanical round steel tubing with nominal wall thickness of 0.126”. Pole shall show no seam along shaft. Flush mounted handhole cover is plasma cut with kerf not to exceed 1/8” and includes triangular tamper-resistant locking device. Pole is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting. Base cover is one-piece 0.080” spun aluminum and finished to match the pole. Nominal pole height is 12'.
FINISH
Housing is cleaned ultrasonically prior to painting. Standard finish is finely textured matte silver grey metallic or graphite grey. Special colors available on request.
WARRANTY
Limited product warranty period is three years. Lamp and ballast shall carry the manufacturer’s limited warranty.
