Pole mounted luminaire for indoor and outdoor applications where contemporary styling is desired.
HOUSING
One-piece luminaire base with integral slipfitter is precision-machined from 6060 billet aluminum, then satin anodized. Conical matte acrylic lens and satin anodized trim band are mechanically secured to the base with machined aluminum retaining ring and three concealed socket head cap screws. One-piece neoprene gasket provides a weather-tight seal to the base. Electrical components and lamp socket are mounted within spun aluminum enclosure fastened to the retaining ring. Spun aluminum roof with satin anodized finish mounts over the lens and is secured to internal bracket with single socket head cap screw. One-piece D profile silicone gasket provides weathertight seal between the roof and lens. Luminaire mounts to 3” O.D. tenon and is fastened with two offset rows of three recessed setscrews. All hardware is stainless steel.
OPTICS
Vertical base down lamp is positioned within the conical matte acrylic lens producing symmetrical distribution.
ELECTRICAL
Compact fluorescent high frequency electronic ballast shall be Class P and Outdoor Type 1 rated. Ballast shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 97% and nominal ballast factor of 0.99. Total harmonic distrortion shall be less than 10%. Ballast shall be capable of reliable starting to 0°F (-18°C) at nominal line voltage and frequency of ±10%. Lamp socket with 2G11 base is 660w-600v rated.

POLE
Inverted tapered steel pole is manufactured from cold drawn over mandrel, electric-weld, mechanical round steel tubing with nominal wall thickness of 0.157”. Flush mounted handhole cover is plasma cut with kerf not to exceed 1/8” and includes triangular tamper-resistant locking device. Circular collar welded at the base of the pole provides transition between the round beveled flange plate and pole shaft. Tenon mounting plate, welded inside the pole top, is drilled and tapped to accept fasteners for securing the tenon. Precision-machined aluminum 3” O.D. tenon fastens to top of pole with three socket head cap screws. Pole is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting. Specify 7.5’ or 10.4’ overall nominal pole height. Pole mounts to anchor base plate assembly with four M12 x 20mm stainless steel socket head cap screws and washers. Anchor base assembly consists of four ½” x 15” x 3” hot-dip galvanized anchor rods secured to galvanized steel mounting plate and embedded as an assembly in concrete foundation (by others).
FINISH
Housing is satin anodized aluminum. Standard finish for pole is finely textured matte silver gray metallic. Special colors available on request.
WARRANTY
Limited product warranty period is three years. Lamp and ballast shall carry the manufacturer’s limited warranty.
