Contemporary bench with simple lines and distinctive detailing brings style to modern architecture. Bench is suitable for exterior and interior use.
SEAT
European Ash slats measure 2.2” wide x 1.6” thick. Edges are softly radiussed and closely spaced along the contoured support frame for user comfort. Wood is planed to shape and rough-sanded prior to fine-sanding. Slats are then pressure treated with CCA-free preservative to achieve weather and decay resistance, then sanded again. Wood weathers to a silvery grey. Slats are attached to side frames and steel center supports with tamper-proof stainless steel hardware.
African Kamabala (Iroki) slats are optional and available upon request.
FRAME
All frame components are cast aluminum. Cylindrical legs with distinctive notched detailing are bolted to side frames. Side frames are joined together by extruded aluminum tubing. Center support provides additional stability. All hardware is stainless steel.
MOUNTING
Bench legs are attached to flangeless cylindrical steel mounting bases with two rows of four recessed M16X20 setscrews. Hot-dip galvanized mounting base mounts to three 3/8” x 8” x 1 ½” anchors embedded in concrete foundation (by others). Mounting hardware is provided.
FINISH
Standard finish is finely textured graphite grey. Special colors available on request.
SUSTAINABILITY
Wood is harvested from plantations using sustainable cultivation practices. All materials are 100% recycable.
WARRANTY
Limited product warranty period is three years.
