HOUSING
Eliptical housing with vertical side opening for prismatic acrylic lens is heavy cast aluminum. Mounting ring for luminaire head is machined from 6060 billet aluminum and welded to the top of the cast housing. Prismatic acrylic lens is bonded to the housing for a weather tight seal. Truncated cylindrical cast aluminum head is secured to the main housing with three recessed setscrews. Rotatable luminaire head houses an internal louver assembly consisting of three specular aluminum blades, adjustable with a single internal setscrew. Clear tempered glass lens is bonded to the head for a weather tight seal. Bollard mounts to hot-dip galvanized steel base flange with two rows of three recessed setscrews. All hardware is stainless steel.
OPTICS
Bollard optics include prismatic acrylic lens with vertical T5HO lamp housed in specular formed aluminum reflector, producing an asymmetric forward throw distribution.
Luminaire head is rotatable 360° and lamped with base down PAR30 lamp. Louvers may be field adjusted to direct light output ranging from horizontal to vertical. Specify spot or flood distribution.
ELECTRICAL
Electrical components are mounted to electrical plate at the base of the bollard and on removable sliding tray. Lamp sockets are mounted to the tray, which slides along rail guide for proper positioning. Tray mounted components are wired with electrical disconnects for easy lamp replacement.
Ceramic metal halide core and coil ballast with class “H” (180°C) insulation system shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 90% and nominal ballast factor of 1.0. Ballast and starter combination shall be capable of reliable starting to –20°F (-30°C) at nominal line voltage of ±10%. Ballast, capacitor, and starter are UL and CSA recognized. Medium base porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 4kV pulse rated.
Fluorescent electronic ballast shall be Class P and Outdoor Type 1 rated. Ballast shall have a minimum high power factor rating greater than 97%. Ballast shall be capable of reliable starting to 0°F (-18°C) at nominal line voltage and frequency of ±10%. Total harmonic distortion shall be less 10%. Ballast shall be UL and cUL recognized. Mini bipin lamp socket is 120w-600v rated.

MOUNTING
Base flange mounts to anchor base plate assembly with four M12 x 30mm stainless steel flat head screws. Anchor base assembly consists of four ½” x 15” x 3” hot-dip galvanized anchor rods secured to a mounting plate and embedded as an assembly in concrete foundation (by others). Optional hot-dip galvanized soil insert is available.
FINISH
Standard finish is finely textured matte silver grey metallic or graphite grey. Special colors available on request.
WARRANTY
Limited product warranty period is three years. Lamps and ballasts shall carry the respective manufacturer’s limited warranty.
