Illuminating column for applications where contemporary styling is desired.

Rectangular column is fabricated from 0.2" nominal wall, 6060 aluminum extrusions and aluminum sheet. Handhole cover is plasma cut with kerf not to exceed 1/8” and includes triangular tamper-resistant locking device. Cast aluminum top cap provides access to lamp and reflector located at top of column. Top cap is secured to column with four captive stainless steel socket head cap screws and is sealed to the housing with one-piece die-cut silicone gasket. Square lenses on main width of column and narrow rectilinear lenses on adjacent sides are 0.24" thick tempered glass, sandblasted on the inside surface. Lenses are gasketed to provide a weather-tight seal to the housing.

Top mounted narrow beam reflector is facetted and constructed of specular anodized aluminum to project light downward and outward through four lenses on column. Interior of column is painted white to provide even illumination through the luminaires four lenses. Two square primary lenses with matte inner surface provide accenting, while two rectilinear lenses provide primary illumination.

Ceramic metal halide core and coil ballast with class “H” (180°C) insulation system shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 90% and nominal ballast factor of 1.0. Ballast and starter combination shall be capable of reliable starting to –20°F (-30°C) at nominal line voltage of ±10%. Ballast, capacitor, and starter are UL and CSA recognized. G12 porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 5kV pulse rated.

Luminaire mounts to hot-dip galvanized steel soil insert. Nominal column height is 10’.

Standard finish is finely textured matte silver grey metallic or graphite grey. Special colors available on request.

Limited product warranty period is three years. Lamp and ballast shall carry the respective manufacturer’s limited warranty.
