Pole mounted luminaire
for outdoor applications where contemporary styling combined with
performance and ease of maintenance is desired.
HOUSING
One-piece die-cast
aluminum housing features integral compartment for reflector and electrical
components. Optical and electrical compartment is sealed to the lens
with one-piece profiled silicone gasket when closed. Frameless tempered
glass lens is secured with a single latch assembly, providing tool-less
access for relamping. Push button latch on the hinged reflector plate
allows tool-less access to the electrical components. Tray mounted
electrical components are removed by loosening two thumbscrews and
single electrical disconnect for ease of maintenance. Luminaire mounts
to 3” O.D. post-top and is secured with two setscrews. Luminaire
tilt angle may be adjusted from 0° to 15° in five degree increments.
All hardware is stainless steel.
OPTICS
Horizontal lamp
is positioned in the hydroformed facetted aluminum reflector with
specular anodized finish. Clear tempered frameless glass lens with
decorative masking shall be free of sharp edges.
ELECTRICAL
Metal halide core and coil ballast with class “H” (180°C)
insulation system shall have a minimum high power factor rating
of 90% and nominal ballast factor of 1.0. Ballast shall be capable
of reliable starting to –20°F (-30°C) at nominal line
voltage of ±10%. Ballast and capacitor are UL and CSA recognized.
Mogul base porcelain socket is 1500w-600v, 4kV pulse rated.
Medium base porcelain socket for 175w and 150w is 660w-600v, 4kV pulse rated.

POLE
Round tapered steel pole is manufactured from cold drawn over mandrel,
electric-weld, mechanical round steel tubing with nominal wall thickness
of 0.142”. Flush mounted handhole cover is plasma cut with
kerf not to exceed 1/8” and includes triangular tamper-resistant
locking device. Pole is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and
out, then lightly sanded prior to painting. One-piece base cover
is 0.080” spun aluminum and finished to match the pole. Specify
26’ or 33’ nominal pole height. See pole data

FINISH
Housing is ultrasonically
cleaned prior to painting. Standard finish is finely textured matte silver grey metallic, dark silver grey metallic, or graphite
grey. Special colors available on request.
WARRANTY
Limited product
warranty period is three years. Lamps and ballasts shall carry the
respective manufacturer's limited warranty.
