Pole mounted luminaire
for outdoor applications where contemporary styling combined with
performance and ease of maintenance is desired.
HOUSING
One-piece die-cast
aluminum housing features integral compartment for reflector and electrical
components. Optical and electrical compartment is sealed to the lens
with one-piece profiled silicone gasket when closed. Frameless tempered
glass lens is secured with a single latch assembly, providing tool-less
access for relamping. Push button latch on the hinged reflector plate
allows tool-less access to the electrical components. Tray mounted
electrical components are removed by loosening two thumbscrews and
single electrical disconnect for ease of maintenance. Luminaire side
mounts to 2” pipe (2 3/8” O.D.) bracket and is secured with
two setscrews. Luminaire tilt angle may be adjusted from 0° to
15° in five degree increments. All hardware is stainless steel.
OPTICS
Horizontal lamp
is positioned in the hydroformed facetted aluminum reflector with
specular anodized finish. Clear tempered frameless glass lens with
decorative masking shall be free of sharp edges.
ELECTRICAL
400w and 250w ceramic metal halide: Core and coil ballast with class "H" (180°C) insulation system shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 90% and nominal ballast factor of 1.0. Ballast and starter combination shall be capable of reliable starting to -40°F (-40°C) at nominal line voltage of ±10%. Ballast, capacitor, and starter are UL and CSA recognized. Mogul base porcelain socket is 1500w-600v, 4kV pulse rated.

POLE
Fabricated steel
bracket assembly is composed of 2” pipe (2 3/8” O.D.) welded
to the slipfitter. Integral slipfitter has two rows of three recessed
stainless steel setscrews and has built-in stop to limit insertion
depth to 4.5”. Bracket is available in single or twin mount configurations.
Bracket is hot-dip galvanized inside and out, then lightly sanded
prior to painting.
Round tapered steel pole is manufactured from cold drawn over mandrel,
electric-weld, mechanical round steel tubing with nominal wall thickness
of 0.142”. Flush mounted handhole cover is plasma cut with
kerf not to exceed 1/8” and includes triangular tamper-resistant
locking device. Pole is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and
out, then lightly sanded prior to painting. One-piece base cover
is 0.080” spun aluminum and finished to match the pole. Specify

FINISH
Housing is ultrasonically
cleaned prior to painting. Standard finish is finely textured matte silver grey metallic, dark silver grey metallic, or graphite
grey. Special colors available on request.
WARRANTY
Limited product
warranty period is three years. Lamps and ballasts shall carry the
respective manufacturer's limited warranty.
