Ringed cage is fabricated from high strength aluminum alloy. Clear acrylic cylindrical lens assembly twists onto mounting plate at the top of the cage assembly and is secured with three socket head cap screws. Lens is sealed with one-piece silicone gasket. Reflector assembly consists of facetted aluminum reflector mounted to three aluminum support rods. Power cable is sealed with weather-tight bushing at top of the luminaire. All hardware is stainless steel.

Vertical base up lamp is positioned within facetted aluminum reflector for optimal performance. Reflector material is textured to reduce brightness. Specify symmetric or asymmetric distribution.

Ceramic metal halide electronic ballast shall be Sound Rated A and Outdoor Type 1 rated. Ballast shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 97% and nominal ballast factor of 0.99. Total harmonic distortion shall be less than 10%. Ballast shall be capable of reliable starting to -20°F (-30°C) at nominal line voltage. Ballast is UL and CSA recognized. G12 base porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 5kV pulse rated. Medium base porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 4kV pulse rated.

Articulating cable hanger assembly is machined aluminum and is adjustable to level the luminaire. Cable hanger assembly will accomodate 1/4" - 1/2" diameter stainless steel cable. Side mounted 1/8" - 1/4" stainless steel stabilization cables (by others) attach to eyelets on opposite sides of the luminaire cage with swaged end fittings. Standard finish is finely textured graphite grey. Special colors available on request.

Limited product warranty period is three years. Lamp and ballast shall carry the respective manufacturer’s limited warranty.
