Ringed cage with integral pole top fitter of fabricated aluminum. Clear acrylic cylindrical lens assembly twists onto mounting plate at the base of the cage assembly and is secured with three socket head cap screws. Lens is sealed with one-piece EPDM gasket. Reflector assembly consists of facetted aluminum reflector and upper conical reflector element mounted to three aluminum support rods. Perforated aluminum shield encircles the electrical components. All hardware is stainless steel.

Vertical base down lamp is positioned within formed facetted reflector for optimum performance. Upper reflector element redirects light downward for increased efficiency. Luminaire is available with symmetric or asymmetric distributions.

Ceramic metal halide electronic ballast shall be Sound Rated A and Outdoor Type 1 rated. Ballast shall have a minimum high power factor rating of 97% and nominal ballast factor of 0.99. Total harmonic distortion shall be less than 10%. Ballast shall be capable of reliable starting to -20°F (-30°C) at nominal line voltage. Ballast is UL and CSA recognized. G12 base porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 5kV pulse rated. Medium base porcelain socket is 660w-600v, 4kV pulse rated.

Stepped steel pole is manufactured from cold drawn over mandrel, electric-weld, mechanical round steel tubing with nominal wall thickness of 0.126”. Flush mounted handhole cover is plasma cut with kerf not to exceed 1/8” and includes triangular tamper-resistant locking device. Pole top tenon shall show no visible weld at the transition to the luminaire. Two rows of four recessed setscrews secure the luminaire to the top of the pole. Decorative ring is welded to pole at the stepped transition. Pole is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting. One-piece base cover is 0.080” spun aluminum and finished to match the pole. Specify 12' or 14' nominal pole height. See pole data sheet for mounting details.

Standard finish is finely textured graphite grey. Special colors available on request.
